From the CONCEPT by Katia yarn line, Cotton-Merino is a 70/30 blended yarn that is incredibly soft and luxurious and it comes in stunning colors. The strength of cotton mixed with the lightness of virgin wool makes for perfect autumn and winter garments that can be knit at a DK or worsted weight. This yarn is perfect for cuddly accessories, sweaters and blankets that are warm but weigh next to nothing. The yarn consists of a chainette cotton tube that is filled with unspun super soft merino wool. This makes for a beautiful soft yarn which would be a great alternative to mohair and much easier to work with. Hand wash in cool water.
